Our story.

I founded Brooke Flint Buyers Agent because I saw the cost of poor property decisions—emotionally and financially. When my mum sold our family home after divorce, she didn’t have the right support. The wrong advice led to rushed decisions, lost money, and deep exhaustion. That experience shaped my mission: to help others make clear, strategic moves that protect both their future and their peace of mind.

My mum is my role model. She showed resilience and quiet strength in the face of uncertainty—and I bring that same clarity, care, and conviction to every client I work with.

Brooke Flint Buyers Agent is more than a property service—it’s a calm hand, a strategic eye, and an advocate in your corner.

About Brooke Flint

Twenty years ago, my mum sold our family home after her divorce.

She didn’t have the right support. The advice was rushed, the decisions were rushed, and the cost wasn’t just financial. I watched what the wrong guidance does to a person at the exact moment they can least afford it.

That’s why this business exists.

My mum is my role model. She showed resilience and quiet strength through all of it. What she didn’t have was someone in her corner who knew the industry from the inside. So I became that person, for her and for the 750+ clients I’ve worked with since.

I’m Brooke Flint. Buyers’ agent, vendor advocate, and for the last twenty years, an advocate for the person the property industry too often talks past.

Both Sides of the Table

Here’s the thing most buyers’ agents won’t tell you: I used to be the other side.

2001. I started at McGrath as a sales assistant, learning the mechanics of property, negotiation and the psychology of how people make their biggest decisions.

2004 to 2008. Balmain, with Sarah Lorden Real Estate, during the rise of auction-led competition in the Inner West. This is where I became fluent in the micro-market differences between Balmain, Birchgrove, Rozelle and Newtown. Streets, not suburbs.

2008 to 2010. Back to McGrath, selling houses and apartments across the Eastern Suburbs through one of the most competitive cycles Sydney has seen. I wrote the price guides. I ran the campaigns. I know exactly how that machine works, because I operated it.

2010 to 2014. I crossed the table. Four years as a senior buyer’s agent specialising in prestige property across Sydney’s inner ring, building the agent relationships and auction instincts I still use every week.

2014 to today. Brooke Flin, Buyer’s Agent. My own firm works exclusively for buyers and sellers who want someone independent in their corner.

Four downturns, four recoveries, hundreds of auctions, and 750+ clients settled. When I tell you how an agent will behave in a negotiation, it isn’t a guess. It’s a memory.

Who I Work With

The people who call me aren’t confused about what they want. They know exactly who they’re becoming. They just need the property to match.

Maybe you’ve outgrown your suburb. Maybe the school zone matters now. Maybe you’re selling a home you’ve lived in for thirty years, and the next place needs to feel like the next chapter, not a compromise.

These aren’t just property decisions. They’re identity decisions. And they’re the ones I specialise in.

In practice, that looks like:

  • Families upsizing or downsizing in Sydney’s $2M to $6M market
  • Time-poor professionals who can’t give a serious search the time it demands
  • Expats buying from overseas who need judgement on the ground, not just a video walkthrough
  • People navigating separation, an estate, or a transition where the stakes are bigger than the transaction

If you’re buying, here’s how I work. If you’re selling, this is what having an advocate looks like.

How I Work

I’ll tell you what a property is actually worth, not what you hope it’s worth.

I’ll tell you when to walk away, even when walking away means I’ve done weeks of work for nothing.

And I’ll tell you if you don’t need me. Some buyers don’t. I’ve written openly about when a buyer’s agent isn’t worth the fee, because I’d rather lose an engagement than earn one dishonestly.

The properties I secure for clients often trade quietly, before they ever reach Domain. Getting in front of them takes twenty years of agent relationships. Knowing which ones to fight for takes something else: the discipline to assess a property for what it is. Solid bones. Good orientation. Good location. Not the styling, not the campaign, not the fear of missing out.

Strategy first. Then the search. Then the negotiation. In that order, always.

Beyond the Deals

Property is how I make a living. It’s also how I try to be useful.

For four years, I sat on the board of Head Start Homes, a social enterprise creating pathways into home ownership for people in social housing. The same skills I use for clients in Mosman apply to a family trying to buy their first home out of social housing, and helping there frees up housing for someone who needs it more.

And every Christmas Day since 2014, I’ve been at the Exodus Foundation, serving food to people doing it tough.

I believe in bringing humanity back to real estate. That’s not a tagline. It’s the reason the business has my name on it.

The Short Version

I’ve spent twenty years learning how Sydney property really works, from every seat at the table. Now I sit in one seat only: yours.

If you’re making a significant move in Sydney and you need it to land right, let’s talk. A conversation costs nothing, and you’ll leave it knowing more than you came with, whether we work together or not.
